The Dim Sum Place - North Bridge Road

Along a stretch of North Bridge Road that has long been associated with Kampong Glam's food scene sits The Dim Sum Place, the brand's original outlet since 2016. The restaurant introduced Hong Kong-style dim sum made by hand to the area, and it remains the flagship branch today.

The kitchen turns out a wide range of steamed, fried and baked items. Among the steamed selection, the Crystal Shrimp Dumpling and the Chicken Dumpling with Shrimp represent the more traditional end of the menu, while the Steamed Chicken and Mala Xiao Long Bao Combo pairs a classic soup dumpling with a spicier version for contrast. The Molten Salted Egg Custard Bun and Truffle Assorted Mushroom Bun lean into richer, more contemporary flavours.

Duck dishes form another core part of the menu. The Signature Duck Roll and Peking Duck Wrap are both designed for sharing, while the DSP Herbal Duck and DSP Angelica Duck are served in larger portions using traditional Chinese herbal preparations, a style not commonly found in casual dim sum restaurants in Singapore. This outlet is also one of only two branches, alongside The Centrepoint, that carries the DSP Cheese Tarts and DSP Egg Tarts, as these are not available at the Changi City Point and Causeway Point locations.

Noodle and congee options round out the offering, from wanton noodles served dry or in soup to congee with sliced fish or preserved egg and choi sum. Rice dishes such as the Aromatic Garlic Fried Rice with Onsen Egg and the DSP Signature Fried Beehoon are also on the menu for those looking for a fuller meal beyond dim sum baskets.

The dining space is set up for casual, walk-in dining, with tables that can accommodate both small groups and families. Given its position as the brand's first branch, this outlet has the longest operating history of the four Singapore locations and reflects the original format the other branches were later built on.
